AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor This is a 1st shift full time position in Doral FL Founded in 1960 AVI Foodsystems has evolved into one of the most respected and trusted food service companies in the nation Providing comprehensive food services with a focus on the highest quality and freshest ingredients impeccable service and total value is the reputation we have earned and live up to everyday Duties & Responsibilities Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing shipping receiving and inventorySupport the Branch Manager in safe efficient and economic running of the WarehouseOversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping receiving storing and inventoryOversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipments which includes lifting and carrying materialsReview records for accuracy and compliance with established proceduresReview shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team membersConduct Inventory countsOrder warehouse supplies when neededDevelop and maintain an effective department assist in the selection training motivation and review of team membersPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements Minimum of 3 5 years experience in a management rolePrevious experience in vendingfoodservice is preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsOutgoing personable and ability to communicate with all levels of a companyAbility to multi taskAbility to work in a fast paced environmentGood driving recordProfessional appearanceBenefits A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth dental vision and life insurance for full time team members401k with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre employment drug testing EOE
