Join the AVI Team AVI is looking for dependable hardworking and motivated individuals to join our team We have openings for Food Packer Warehouse Worker and Utility Worker to support our food packing warehouse distribution inventory equipment installation and general operations We are seeking team players who are reliable safety conscious detail oriented and willing to learn Successful candidates will help ensure daily operations run smoothly by handling products accurately maintaining inventory preparing orders for shipment assisting with equipment installation and maintenance and keeping work areas clean safe and organized Duties & Responsibilities Food Packer Pick assemble pack and fill orders accurately for shipmentLoad trays with food products while following established proceduresReceive incoming products and verify quantities and product descriptionsStock and organize inventory in designated areasMaintain accurate physical inventory records and assist with inventory countsFollow applicable food handling cleanliness sanitation safety and security proceduresWarehouse Worker Participate in all warehouse receiving and distribution activitiesReceive inspect and verify incoming products for quantity and accuracyStock organize and maintain inventoryPrepare orders for shipment and ensure products are handled properlyComplete receiving stocking packing and distribution activities in a timely and orderly mannerFollow established receiving handling storage and shipping proceduresUtility Worker Assist with installing new equipment at client locations within a designated service areaDisassemble and assemble cabinets machines and equipment as neededStrip clean rebuild and prepare equipment components for useClean and sanitize equipment to ensure it remains safe clean and in proper working conditionAssemble install repair and replace parts and components according to established proceduresLoad and unload trailers materials equipment and supplies using proper handling and safety proceduresUse basic hand tools to assist with equipment maintenance and repairsAssist with moving and positioning equipment as neededPerform general cleanup and maintain clean safe and organized work areasGeneral Responsibilities Follow all AVI policies and procedures including applicable safety and security requirementsCommunicate concerns to management including cleanliness issues safety hazards damaged products inventory discrepancies and security concernsFollow directions and complete assigned tasks accurately and efficientlyWork independently when required and cooperate with team members to meet daily operational goalsPerform other related duties as assigned by managementQualifications & Requirements Dependable punctual and able to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to follow instructions procedures and management directivesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced environmentAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds as required by the positionAbility to stand walk bend reach grasp and perform repetitive physical tasks as neededBasic hand tool skills and mechanical aptitude for equipment related dutiesWillingness to learn new skills equipment and proceduresAbility to pass a Department of Transportation DOT physical examination for positions where requiredPrevious experience in food packing warehouse operations inventory equipment maintenance or general utility work is preferred but not required
