The Warehouse Associate supports distribution center operations by maintaining accurate inventory and an organized warehouse environment. This role focuses primarily on picking, packing, cycle counts, stock put-away, and inventory accuracy, while providing backup support to shipping and receiving as needed.Successful candidates will have a strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, the ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and a positive, can-do attitude.Essential Job Duties More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse Associate to:

  • Inventory Accuracy & Warehouse Organization (Primary Focus)
  • Put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned locations
  • Perform accurate and timely cycle counts:
    o Execute scheduled cycle counts to support branch commitment to 100% inventory counted twice annually
  • Shipping & Order Fulfillment (As Needed)
  • Fill in for shipping and order fulfillment during peak times or staff absences:
    o Pick, pack, and process customer orders and transfers accurately
    o Use the ERP system (P21) and WWMS to pick and process orders
    o Pack shipments properly with correct labeling and documentation
    o Prepare shipments using UPS and other carrier systems as required

  • Maintain personal accountability for accuracy, safety, and performanceEDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalentREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Basic computer skills: proficiency with MS Office preferred
  • Ability and willingness to learn ERP (P21), WWMS, and shipping systems
  • Ability to learn and safely operate a forklift
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally
  • Familiarity with 5S and ISO principles is preferred by not required

EXPERIENCE: Previous warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience is preferred but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Moderate physical effort, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working in warehouse environments
  • Frequent handling of light to medium-weight materials (25-50lbs)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Marginal to moderate hazards that are typically of a warehouse environment, generally predictable and well protected against.
