Overview:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Vutek Operator to set up, run, and maintain large-format Vutek printers. Must have strong color skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate wide-format Vutek printers; load media, inks, and curing systems.

  • Prepare files, perform color management (ICC profiles, soft proofing).

  • Start up, maintain, and clean printers per guidelines; monitor print quality.

  • Troubleshoot issues; coordinate with service if needed.

  • Manage media inventory and basic maintenance; ensure safety and cleanliness.

  • Collaborate with prepress/finishing/shipping to meet deadlines.

  • Document job settings and quality checks for repeatability.Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience with large-format printing; Vutek/EFI preferred.

  • Color management knowledge (ICC profiles, proofing).

  • Familiar with RIP software (Wasatch, Caldera, EFI Fiery) and file prep (PDF/TIFF/EPS).

  • Mechanical aptitude; basic maintenance skills.

  • Attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork.

  • Ability to lift and stand for extended periods; safety-conscious.
