Position: Video Post-Production Workflow Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $15 – $65/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and articulate end-to-end video post-production workflows using OpenShot or Shotcut.
- Organize, label, and manage raw video assets for efficient editing processes.
- Apply narrative timing to create compelling story structure and visual flow.
- Refine rough cuts, evaluate transitions, and resolve visual editing challenges.
- Clearly document workflow decisions through written and verbal communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on AI workflow capture and training.
- Showcase creative problem-solving approaches to enhance post-production efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience in video editing using OpenShot and/or Shotcut.
- Strong understanding of sequencing, narrative timing, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and organize multimedia assets effectively.
- Experience completing full video production projects across various formats.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-evolving environment.
- Comfort explaining creative and technical decisions clearly and concisely.
