About The Role The Video Editor & Podcast Producer is a vital role responsible for creating high-quality video and audio content that enhances Scorpion’s brand presence, effectively communicates our value proposition, and increases engagement across various digital channels. This role involves managing the entire post-production process for video and podcast assets, from recording to final distribution, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams including Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Studios, and Content to bring scripts, concepts, and conversations to life with creativity and precision. The role aims to improve production speed, consistency, and quality while reducing reliance on external vendors. Strong editorial judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in editing video content within a B2B or brand environment or comparable experience producing high-quality video at scale
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand storytelling, product content, and customer stories
  • Hands-on experience editing podcasts and audio content
  • Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and audio editing tools like Adobe Audition or similar
  • Experience creating content optimized for web, social media, paid campaigns, events, and internal communications
  • Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce B2B marketing videos for brand, product, customer, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Transform scripts, outlines, and creative briefs into polished video assets aligned with brand voice
  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for various digital channels including paid media, web, and social platforms
  • Edit and produce podcasts, including audio cleanup, pacing, mixing, and mastering
  • Assist with guest booking, scheduling, and coordination for podcast episodes
  • Create social media and campaign cutdowns from podcasts and videos
  • Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to enhance content
  • Manage color correction, sound design, and final exports across multiple formats and channels
  • Ensure all content adheres to Scorpion’s visual and audio standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align content with marketing campaigns and objectives
  • Coordinate with external vendors or creative teams as needed for additional support
  • Manage digital assets, including version control and file organization
  • Maintain efficient workflows to support quick turnaround times
  • Document best practices and production standards to support team scaling
