Vice President Supply Chain
A private equity-backed portfolio company is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple facilities. This executive will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory strategy, vendor management, and operational planning, while driving margin expansion and scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy across sourcing, procurement, logistics, planning, and distribution
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and margin improvement at scale
- Own supply chain P&L performance, working capital efficiency, and inventory strategy
- Oversee supplier negotiations, vendor consolidation, and contract management
- Implement disciplined S&OP processes aligned with commercial forecasts and production capacity
- Improve service levels, fill rates, and on-time delivery across multiple facilities
- Build and lead high-performing supply chain teams and develop succession pipelines
- Partner with executive leadership and PE stakeholders on operational value creation initiatives
Qualifications
- 15 or more years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
- Proven P&L ownership within complex manufacturing or industrial environments
- Track record of cost optimization and operational improvement at scale
- Experience operating within a private equity-backed or performance-driven environment preferred
- Strong ERP and supply chain systems expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
