About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, CA, or remotely. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping intuitive, scalable, and modern user experiences across our diverse product offerings. This position requires a highly skilled design practitioner proficient in Figma, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for innovative solutions. The UX Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and QA to translate complex requirements into seamless user interfaces. Additionally, this role involves leveraging AI tools to enhance design workflows, improve efficiency, and contribute to AI-integrated product features, ensuring our solutions are both user-friendly and forward-looking. The successful candidate will bring a blend of core UX expertise, strategic thinking, and a keen interest in AI-driven design to help us deliver next-generation security and surveillance products.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX, product design, or interaction design
  • Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence within a product development environment
  • Experience designing user flows and interfaces for complex digital products
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline design processes and enhance team productivity
  • Experience contributing to products or features that incorporate AI-driven capabilities into the user experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints effectively

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive end-to-end user experiences for web and platform-based products, from discovery through delivery
  • Create detailed user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of design systems, component libraries, and reusable interaction patterns
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to translate requirements into effective user experiences
  • Document UX decisions, workflows, design rationale, and requirements using Confluence
  • Utilize Jira to support backlog management, story definition, acceptance criteria, and sprint planning
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance UX team efficiency, including ideation, research synthesis, content generation, and prototyping support
  • Design and define product experiences that incorporate AI functionalities such as intelligent search, recommendations, automation, and summarization
  • Ensure AI-powered features are intuitive, trustworthy, and aligned with user needs and expectations
  • Participate in design reviews, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional workshops to ensure clarity and alignment
