About The Role The User Experience (UX) Researcher will play a vital role in shaping our digital experiences across applications and websites. The primary focus is to ensure that our digital solutions are rooted in guest insights, delivering intuitive, engaging, and guest-centric experiences. The UX Researcher will support our mission to understand and amplify the voice of the guest through methodologically sound research that influences product and design decisions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, product owners, designers, analysts, and engineers. The position reports to the Manager of UX Research and offers an exciting opportunity to impact user experience strategies significantly.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive user research initiatives, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations, and communicating findings effectively to drive product innovation. The role demands a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting UX research in digital product environments, preferably in e-commerce or mobile applications
  • Proven ability to independently lead, scope, and deliver end-to-end research projects
  • Strong expertise in usability testing, qualitative interviews, survey design, and data synthesis
  • Proficiency with research and design tools such as Figma, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin, or similar platforms
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Experience working within agile product development workflows and UX design practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
  • A passion for understanding customer behavior and a deep curiosity about user needs

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute user research using qualitative and quantitative methods, including usability testing, diary studies, surveys, interviews, and concept testing
  • Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product strategy, features, and design directions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate guest feedback throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Communicate research insights through storytelling, journey maps, personas, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Present findings in a manner that fosters clarity, alignment, and momentum toward business and user goals
  • Manage and prioritize multiple research projects independently while adhering to team timelines
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of UX research best practices and standards
  • Support cross-functional workshops, ideation sessions, and knowledge sharing initiatives with research insights
  • Maintain and optimize research tools and methodologies to stay current with industry trends
  • Partner closely with product design, analytics, project management, and optimization teams throughout the research process
  • Explore and implement new research methods and stay updated on emerging UX trends and tools
  • Support special projects related to personalization, loyalty programs, and in-store experiences
  • Mentor or coach junior team members and interns as appropriate to foster growth and knowledge sharing
