UAT

Key Responsibilities

UAT Planning & Execution

  • Review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for .NET and Angular applications
  • Develop UAT test scenarios and test cases based on real business workflows
  • Execute UAT test cases for UI, backend services, and end-to-end system functionality
  • Validate Angular UI behavior, navigation, and form validations
  • Verify .NET backend logic, business rules, and API responses

Defect & Test Management

  • Log, track, and manage UAT defects using tools such as JIRA / Azure DevOps
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to triage, prioritize, and resolve issues
  • Perform retesting and regression testing after fixes

Integration & Data Validation

  • Validate integrations between the .NET application and external systems (REST APIs, third-party services)
  • Verify data accuracy across UI, backend, and database layers
  • Validate reports, exports, and data processing results

Security & Access Validation

  • Validate role-based access control, authentication, and authorization
  • Verify SSO, MFA, and user permissions where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements

Business Collaboration

  • Coordinate UAT sessions with business users and SMEs
  • Facilitate UAT walkthroughs and demos
  • Collect business sign-off and document acceptance results

Release & Go-Live Support

  • Support UAT environment readiness and test data setup
  • Perform smoke testing before production releases
  • Assist with post-deployment validation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional & UAT Skills

  • Strong experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into UAT test cases
  • Experience testing enterprise web applications

Technical Skills

  • Experience testing .NET applications (ASP.NET / .NET Core / Web API)
  • Experience testing Angular applications
  • Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
  • Ability to validate backend responses using tools like Postman or Swagger
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation

Tools & Methodologies

  • JIRA / Azure DevOps for defect tracking
  • Test management tools (Excel, TestRail, ALM, etc.)
  • Agile / Scrum methodology
  • CI/CD awareness (Azure DevOps pipelines preferred)
