Training and Technical Assistance VISTA

The Health Center Training and Technical Assistance VISTA supports efforts to improve health outcomes for residents of public housing, focusing on chronic illness, mental health, and social barriers to care.

Member Duties include conducting literature reviews on health, housing, and nurse-led care; creating strategy blogs; developing models for webinars and podcasts; facilitating learning events; evaluating these events; and drafting reports and articles based on findings.

Program benefits include relocation allowance, health coverage, childcare assistance (if eligible), training, living allowance, and either an Education Award or End of Service Stipend.

Terms permit working or attending school during off hours.

Service areas encompass health, housing, community development, public health, homelessness, education, hunger, and outreach.

Skills desired include social services, leadership, writing, teamwork, public health, communication, technology, non-profit management, community organization, public speaking, and education.
