Stellantis Financial Services SFS is the new captive finance company for one of the worlds leading automakers and a mobility provider with iconic brands including Abarth Alfa Romeo Chrysler Citron Dodge DS Automobiles Fiat Jeep Lancia Maserati Opel Peugeot Ram Vauxhall Free2move and Leasys Our exciting growth provides opportunities to advance your career as we successfully lead products and services from a small to midsize company in just a few years Join our world class team and culture and contribute to our core mission which is enhancing our customers experience Position Summary The Team Manager Titles will be responsible for assisting with managing the title functions to ensure the efficient use of company resources and technical capabilities to achieve targeted performance standards while remaining in compliance with applicable state and federal laws Handles daily managerial administrative tasks and provides functional training customer resolution and employee feedback daily Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities and all processes involved with titling functions up to & including title follow up vehicle title releases repossession titles title maintenance and paper title requests Act as a liaison between Dealer Track FDI Collateral Management Custodian Bank and SFS to ensure all post title issues are resolved Assist with maintaining quality control of the titling processes according to established policies and procedures Review title reports regularly to ensure timely and thorough follow up and recommend additional activity when warranted Ensure department statistics and service levels are maintained for the various titling processes Assist in all areas with the handling of more difficult title issues or questions Assist Associate Director Director and Managing Director as needed with projects tasks and follow up Assist in Identifying training needs and makes recommendations to management and executive levels as needed Maintains confidentiality with regular access to specified personal information of consumers including but not limited to Social Security numbers and dates of birth Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities Perform the above referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day to day activities and work schedules and by providing work related guidance to Titles team in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures Although this position shall provide the authority to lead oversee and direct the day to day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions hire an employee fire an employee promote or demote an employee discipline an employee in a formal manner reassign an employee or alter benefits of an employee All such decisions shall be made by the responsible senior managers in consultation with the Human Resources Department Qualifications and Competencies To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill andor ability required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Experience Minimum 3 years experience as a supervisor or manager in automotive or relevant industry Education High school diploma and orGED Skills Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to write advanced correspondence Detail oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and an ability to multitask effectively Ability to lead a team and collaborate with senior leaders Advance knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel Word Visio and PowerPoint Qualifications Preferred Experience Minimum 3 years of title experience and knowledge of DMV documentation requirements laws and regulations for motor vehicle titles Education Bachelor degree in Business Administration;
