Essential Responsibilities

Platform Management
-
Install, configure, and maintain TIBCO and ESB product environments.

Apply updates, patches, maintenance packs, and fixes across all environments.

Perform periodic health checks and generate platform status reports.

Collaboration & Optimization
-
Work closely with developers, DBAs, network engineers, QA, and support teams.
-
Design and optimize ESB environments for performance and scalability.
-
Automation & Standards
-
Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks.
-
Define and enforce server configuration standards.
-
Release & Deployment
-
Manage off-hours releases of code and configuration changes to QA and Production.
-
Own environment administration tasks across assigned projects.
-
Support & Monitoring
-
Provide on-call support as needed.
-
Categorize and respond to support issues with appropriate urgency.
-
Use tools like TIBCO Hawk for proactive monitoring and diagnostics.
-
Documentation & Compliance
-
Create and maintain operational documentation (procedures, checklists, instructions).
-
Ensure compliance with CarMax security standards and practices.
-
Capacity & Training
-
Conduct system capacity planning and performance tuning.
-
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
-
Train junior staff and hand over documentation and artifacts.

Infra /Server/Admin production support
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Technical Expertise
-
10 years in technology roles; 10 years as TIBCO administrator
-
5 years in integration development disciplines.
-
Experience in Infra /Server/Admin production support
-
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Solaris clustering.
-
Deep knowledge of infrastructure domains: storage, networking, security.

TIBCO Product Knowledge
-
TIBCO EMS: create topics, queues, bridges.
-
TIBCO RV, Hawk: configuration and monitoring.
-
TIBCO BusinessWorks, , Administrator.
-
ESB service environment administration.
-
Integration & Security
-
SOAP, JMS, SOA development.
-
XML, XSD, XSLT standards.
-
API Gateway technologies.
-
PGP key and certificate management.
-
DevOps & Automation
-
CI/CD tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
-
Experience with IBM Mainframe, Oracle, SQL Server.

Familiarity with Java, XML, HTML.
