Technical Intern
Location: Mostly hiring in Birmingham AL, NYC and San Francisco
Duration: ~6 months (summer/semester options available) with potential for full time
Comp: $15 – $25/hr depending on experience and location
Reports to: CTO
The role: We’re looking for interns who are curious about how things work and are impatient to get their hands on real problems. You won’t be doing busywork. You’ll be embedded with experienced engineers, working on production systems, and learning by shipping — not just watching.
Depending on your interests, you could work on:
- Software development (React/Next.js, Go, TypeScript, Python)
- DevOps and cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS, Azure, Heroku)
- Data engineering and analytics (SQL, dbt, Grafana, Looker, Snowflake)
- Internal IT systems and security
- A combination of the above — we’ll figure it out together
Apply if you:
- Are genuinely curious about software, data, or infrastructure — not just looking for a line on your resume
- Have built something on your own, even if it was small or messy
- Get energized by ambiguity rather than paralyzed by it
Nice to haves (but not dealbreakers):
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, Data Science, IT, or similar
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, SQL, or any cloud platform
- Previous internship or project experience
