About The Role The Technical Analyst at Diamond Game plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our gaming products. Reporting directly to the QA Manager, this role involves hands-on collaboration with engineering and product management teams to verify that all feature developments and enhancements meet high standards from both business and functional perspectives. The Technical Analyst is responsible for executing various testing methodologies including exploratory, functional, system, reliability, and regression testing on our gaming products across multiple platforms. Additionally, the role encompasses providing technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits, often requiring participation in on-call rotations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple testing projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly to new technologies and environments.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years of QA testing experience within a client-server environment is essential, along with at least one year of working with MS SQL databases, including writing read/write SQL queries. Experience with MS Office suite, Content Management Systems, gaming technology, and MS Server 2005 and 2008 is highly advantageous. Candidates with prior experience working with Lottery and Slot gaming products will be given preference. Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a customer service mindset are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory, functional, system, reliability, and regression testing on all gaming products, ensuring they meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Execute hardware and software test scripts across multiple platforms, including repetitive testing scenarios to validate product stability.
• Develop detailed test cases based on comprehensive requirements documentation to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Document and report defects clearly and concisely, facilitating efficient resolution by development teams.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems, MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008 environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, infrastructure, and network components.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and software applications to support continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed (approximately 25%) to UAT locations, certification labs, and other sites across the US and Canada, sometimes on short notice, to provide on-site support.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support team objectives and project deadlines.
