Job Responsibilities Under limited supervision, develop and maintain administrative software and systems for the Student Development Services, Business Affairs, Academic Affairs, Corporate and Continuing Education, Marketing Communications, and Institutional Support divisions of Midlands Technical College. Provide technical guidance to junior developers as project technical leader.Leads project teams which design, code, test, modify and document electronic forms for the college. Utilize a variety of different forms management systems. Lead project teams that support academic advisors with electronic advising systems. Meet with users to determine system requirements. Serves as support for Etrieve system, Ellucian Experience, and Ellucian patches. Resolves processing issues using diverse technical resources and systems analysis techniques. Trains system users as needed. Assist users in creating reports from diverse data sources using industry standard tools such as Power BI and Microsoft SQL. Develops and implements data exchange processes between the enterprise student information system and supporting subsystems to eliminate the manual handling of critical information. Provide quality assurance and testing support where needed. Installs, configures and administers application software on servers as needed.This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus.Minimum and Additional RequirementsA high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software.
