System Test Engineer with Automation Skills

Requirements

Must have:

– Active TS/SCI clearance is essential – Must be able to work on-site in Ft Meade, MD up to five days a week, depending on customer needs – Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline – Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in preparing, executing, and documenting various systems tests to ensure system functionality and adherence to project guidelines – At least 3 years of experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira – A minimum of 3 years of experience in testing web-based applications – Practical experience in testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces, including sending and receiving RESTful data – Practical experience in testing within a cloud environment – Preferred: Experience adapting to DoD DevSecOps environments – Preferred: Familiarity with automated testing techniques including UX testing, integration testing, performance testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and build support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in supporting system testing activities – Utilize analytical skills for process enhancement, specialized studies, and requirements definition – Conduct analysis and planning to facilitate test execution and validate systems – Create test documentation and procedures to support verification processes – Perform both manual and automated tests, encompassing unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing – Test web applications and RESTful interfaces in cloud-hosted settings – Execute additional technical and testing tasks as necessary to assist in mission execution – Participate in program increment (PI) planning and attend other program events requiring occasional travel to government or contractor sites.
