System Administrator – Citrix Specialist
Requirements
Must have:
– Education: – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. – Experience: – 5 years of experience in systems administration with strong expertise in Citrix technologies. – Technical Skills: – Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Director, Citrix Studio. – Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. – Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and scripting (PowerShell). – Certifications (Preferred): – Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher. – Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent. – Languages: – Proficiency in French and English (considerable asset).
Responsibilities:
- Citrix Administration: – Install, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop). – Manage Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Citrix Workspace. – Monitor and optimize Citrix environments for performance and reliability. – Systems Administration: – Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policies. – Apply patches, perform upgrades, and secure systems. – Troubleshoot system and application issues in virtualized environments. – Infrastructure Support: – Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure smooth operations. – Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. – Provide level 2/3 support for incidents and requests related to Citrix.
