Summary Job Summary System Administrator (Tallahassee, Florida) Onsite

  • Provide oversight, management, troubleshooting, and execution of cloud services/platforms to support infrastructure, applications, and data needs.
  • Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 environments, Microsoft platforms, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Perform daily operations support, maintenance, and administration of servers (Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Manage network components, user access, security measures, and shared resource usage.
  • Architect, design, and lead technology initiatives across infrastructure, application development, data management, cybersecurity, external hosting, identity access, and compliance.
  • Configure, integrate, and implement network management applications for internet components.
  • Coordinate server configuration/administration with internal teams and contractors.
  • Monitor system/app performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to vendors as needed.
  • Analyze and tune systems/network for optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Make recommendations for future server/software upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
  • Build and manage relationships in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost and performance optimization.
  • Create/manage Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and pipelines; oversee Azure DevOps organizational settings.
  • Support IT staff, including application developers, in infrastructure/cloud-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with network policies, procedures, and security standards.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 8 years in information systems engineering or related field.
  • 3 5 years in infrastructure/network operations, support, and administration.
  • 2 3 years experience with Windows Servers, IIS administration, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS), NTFS permissions.
  • 2 3 years strong professional experience with AWS (required), and Microsoft Azure and GCP (highly desired).
  • 2 3 years administration of Microsoft software (highly desired).
  • 3 5 years supporting middleware, API management, IT service automation (highly desired).
