Accountant to support our financial operations and help maintain strong accounting fundamentals as we continue to grow This role plays an important part in ensuring the accuracy of our trial balance maintaining integrity across the general ledger and supporting consistent accounting processes across the organization You will work closely with members of the finance team operations and other departments to ensure our financial records accurately reflect the performance and complexity of our manufacturing business This is a hands on role ideal for an accounting professional who values precision enjoys learning how systems and processes work and takes pride in producing reliable financial information What Youll Do General Ledger & Transaction ProcessingPost daily inventory transactions and ensure accurate cost flow through the ERP systemProcess parts sales invoices and maintain accurate revenue recordingRecord and reconcile daily bank transactions to ensure timely cash activity trackingClose process orders in coordination with operationsMaintain accuracy in subledger activity to support a clean and reliable trial balanceReconciliations & Journal EntriesPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare and post recurring journal entriesMaintain supporting schedules and documentation to ensure audit ready accountsAssist in maintaining the integrity of fixed asset records and depreciation schedulesMonth End Reporting & Financial AnalysisSupport the monthly close process through timely completion of assigned reconciliations and entriesPrepare and analyzeWork in Process WIP reportsVariance analysisRevenue margin and cost reporting by customerDepreciation and book value analysisPerform final close of process orders to ensure proper revenue and cost recognitionProcess company credit cards and expenses within ProcurifyAccounts Receivable & Operational SupportSend customer statements and proactively follow up on past due accountsPerform routine AR tasks to support cash flow managementFile and maintain complete and accurate unit documentationMaintain chassis inventory records and related tracking schedulesSupport cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processingProcess Improvement & System SupportIdentify and recommend improvements to accounting procedures and ERP workflowsSupport data integrity across accounting systemsAssist with documentation of processes and contribute to close timeline improvementsThe Problems Youll SolveFirst 30 DaysGain working knowledge of ERP workflows inventory processes and reporting toolsUnderstand monthly close cadence and reconciliation standardsBegin managing daily transactional responsibilities independentlyFirst 90 DaysFully own assigned reconciliations and recurring journal entriesImprove accuracy and timeliness of month end close deliverablesIdentify opportunities for process efficiencies within AR inventory and reportingFirst 6 MonthsBecome a reliable resource for accurate financial data and operational reportingContribute to streamlined close processes and improved reporting clarityProactively support cross functional collaboration to strengthen financial accuracyWhat You BringBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance2 years of progressive accounting experience manufacturing or industrial setting preferredStrong understanding of GAAP internal controls and cost accounting principlesHands on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExperience with or exposure to Microsoft Power Platform Power BI Power Automate Power Apps is a plusDetail oriented with a passion for accuracy and consistencyProactive and curiouswilling to complete tasks while looking for process improvementsStrong communication
