2. About the Opportunity:

The SR. DATA ENGINEER will play a key role in designing and maintaining data pipelines and feature stores that power AI products. This position ensures high-quality, scalable data infrastructure that supports data scientists and AI teams. The role is central to transforming complex data requirements into efficient, reusable, and cost-effective data acquisition processes, directly impacting the success of AI initiatives.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design and build data pipelines and feature stores for AI products

• Analyze data requirements and partner with architects on ETL strategies

• Translate business and functional needs into efficient data acquisition methods

• Serve as the main data expert for AI engineering datasets

• Conduct functional and stress testing on data models and extraction jobs

• Manage data administration tasks including job scheduling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

• Ensure data quality through audits and feedback loops

• Create and update technical documentation for support teams

• Mentor junior data engineers

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 5 years of experience building production-grade data pipelines and models

• Strong knowledge of data modeling for AI products

• Experience with large volumes of structured and unstructured data

• Proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, source control, CI/CD, and JIRA

• Strong problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Flexibility to adjust work schedule for global team collaboration

Preferred:

• AWS Cloud and Databricks certifications or willingness to obtain after joining

• Experience collaborating with data scientists on AI and GenAI products

• Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,000 to $183,000 (subject to change based on location)

• Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits
