Sponsorship Coordinator – LA Dragons (Contract/Commission)
The LA Dragons are an Australian Rules Football club based in Los Angeles, competing in the US national AFL league since 2010. Our roster of Aussie and American players has won national titles and we’re growing fast — we need someone to help bring in the sponsors to match.
What you’ll do:
Hunt for new sponsors. You’ll identify prospects, build the pitch, and close deals — then maintain those relationships over time. This is primarily an outbound sales role, so if you’re not comfortable cold outreach, it’s not the right fit.
The deal:
This is a 1099 contract role — you set your own hours and earn purely on results. No base salary. Experienced closers with a solid pipeline can expect around $1,000/week. With real skill and focus you could expect much more.
You’re a fit if you have:
- Proven outbound sales or sponsorship experience
- Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships
- The ability to craft a compelling “why” for why a business should get involved
- Self-motivation — you won’t have someone managing your schedule
- A background in sports or nonprofits is a bonus, not a requirement
