Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Kansas City, KS

Bachelor’s degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pay: $32$38/hr (W2)

Kansas City schools are hiring an SLPA to support multiple campuses with caseloads ranging from 6070 students. This role offers valuable experience working closely with licensed SLPs.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or related field

• Kansas SLPA license required

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services under SLP supervision

• Assist with screenings and evaluations

• Support IEP implementation and progress tracking

• Document therapy sessions and student progress

• Rotate between assigned campuses as needed
