In this role, you’ll work directly with students to implement therapy plans and help them develop critical communication skills that support their academic and social success.You’ll be part of a collaborative special education team with access to supervision, structured support, and manageable caseloads.Key Responsibilities Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by a licensed SLPProvide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervisionSupport students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needsAssist with data collection and documentation of student progressPrepare therapy materials and assistive communication devices (including AAC)Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication strategies in the classroomMaintain service logs and documentation in compliance with district and state requirementsParticipate in team meetings and professional development as appropriateQualifications Required Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Sciences and DisordersEligibility to work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in ConnecticutValid Driver’s LicenseStrong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsPreferred Experience working in a public school settingFamiliarity with IEP processesExperience supporting students with diverse communication needsCultural competency working with diverse student populationsWhat We Offer Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and district placementSign-on bonus and relocation assistanceManageable caseloads with strong supervisory supportFull benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)PTO and paid holidaysProfessional development supportShort- and long-term disabilityLife insurance and voluntary benefitsWhy Join Career Links?At Career Links, we prioritize transparency, support, and long-term career growth.
