Requirements

Must have:

– Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. – Active admission to the state bar in good standing. – At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation. – Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. – Strong capabilities in legal research and writing. – Proficient negotiation and advocacy skills. – Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and legal professionals. – High ethical standards and professional integrity. – Familiarity with legal research tools and software.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of civil litigation from inception to trial, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing pre-trial motions and briefs. – Represent clients in courtroom proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. – Offer legal counsel to clients, advising on potential litigation risks and strategies. – Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support preparation and strategy for cases. – Work alongside a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case management. – Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments. – Foster client relationships by providing ongoing updates and addressing their needs. – Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when suitable.
