Requirements

Must have:

– Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school – Admittance to the state bar and in good standing – At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation – Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload – Strong legal research and writing abilities – Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills – Capability to operate independently as well as within a team – Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and court personnel – High ethical standards and professional integrity – Proficiency in legal research tools and software

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of civil litigation from commencement to trial, which includes drafting pleadings, discovery documents, pre-trial motions, and briefs – Advocate for clients during court cases, mediations, and arbitrations – Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding potential litigation risks – Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for case preparation and strategy – Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and paralegals for optimal case management – Keep abreast of pertinent laws, regulations, and legal developments – Cultivate relationships with clients, offering regular updates and addressing their needs – Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate
