for modern Platform as a Service PaaS architectures supporting NavyDoD Tactical Networks Travel up to 10 You Will Provide technical leadership and oversight to software developers and third party vendors implementing modern PaaS solutionsLead lab based evaluations of new PaaS and container technologies Kubernetes OpenShift Rancher Tanzu as part of a specialized tiger teamCoordinate all lab testing integration activities and technical assessments across multiple engineering groupsReview and evaluate software architectures vendor proposals and developer deliverables against strict NavyDoD requirementsDeliver strategic technical recommendations to the Compute Warfare Lead EngineerEnsure modern PaaS and Kubernetes based architectures meet all tactical operational and security requirementsOversee automation strategies CICD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to ensure efficient and secure software deliveryProvide architectural guidance across LinuxWindows OS networking microservices and cloud native design principlesSupport integration of ICAM RBAC IAM and Active Directory within distributed PaaS environmentsParticipate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning stand ups retrospectives within a cross functional DevSecOps environmentPrepare technical briefs and communicate complex concepts to engineers vendors and leadershipContinuously evaluate emerging Kubernetes and commercial platform capabilities to inform modernization strategiesContribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as directedYou Have US CitizenshipDepartment of Defense DoD Secret Security ClearanceDeep technical understanding of Kubernetes and modern PaaS platforms OpenShift Rancher TanzuDemonstrated experience evaluating software architectures vendor solutions and developer deliverablesStrong knowledge of IT enterprise services email chat collaboration monitoring backups file servicesExperience overseeing automation CICD pipelines and DevSecOps deployment methodologiesSolid foundation in LinuxWindows OS networking cloud native design and microservices architecturesThorough understanding of ICAM RBAC IAM and Active Directory integrationWorking knowledge of DoD Systems Engineering processes and tactical mission systemsStrong documentation and oral communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a highly technical fast paced environmentSelf motivated with a strong desire to learn emerging technologiesWed Be Impressed If You Had A bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related fieldExperience with ITOT systems integration in
