- Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management

The FBM Missile Performance Group Maintains And Uses a Collection Of Tools, Scripts, And Data To Perform System Level Missile Performance Analyses And Deliver Data To a Variety Of Internal And External Stakeholders. As a Missile Performance Simulation Software Engineer, You Will Work With a Team Of Engineers To Maintain And Modernize These Tools, Including Performing The Following Functions
- Execute software development and programming in a team environment potentially supporting multiple projects or task orders supporting the maintenance, modernization and capability upgrades to multiple software products developed and sustained by this program
- Support development of the architecture of the next generation of FBM Missile Performance simulation software
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of software features
- Analyze and solve complex software problems, working closely with team members to identify and implement solutions
- Collaborate closely with analysts, project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers

Desired Skills
- Knowledge of missile trajectory analysis and products
- Experience programming in UNIX/LINUX operating system (O/S) environment
- Knowledge of FORTRAN (or similar)
- Strong programming experience (C/C++ or Similar)
- Experience with automated build, test, continuous delivery and deployment
- Experience with enterprise version control tooling such as Gitlab
- FBM program experience
