Requirements


Must have:

– Must be a U.S. citizen – Hold an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance – Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field – At least 5 years of relevant experience – Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or C# – Proven experience with development, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and element support – Familiarity with Linux, git, GitLab, Confluence Tool Suite – Experience in writing, debugging, and testing real-time, multi-processor software (desired) – Knowledge of design patterns, microservices, API design, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc.) (desired) – Skills in code optimization (desired) – Experience with thorough software testing and verification (desired) – Familiarity with software modeling (UML) and system architecture (desired) – Understanding of design patterns (desired) – Experience with automated testing tools and techniques, as well as static code analysis (desired)

Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop high-performance naval systems – Conduct integration and verification of software solutions – Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team – Communicate and analyze engineering tasks clearly and efficiently – Troubleshoot and evaluate problem reports, providing timely resolutions – Create thorough documentation for software processes and systems – Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices – Participate in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and methodologies – Engage in ongoing performance optimization and testing of software applications
