Job Description Job Description: The Marketing Technology engineer ensures that the MS&S product team supports the company’s over-arching goal of “Always-on” customer relationship. This position will initially heavily focus on Customer Relationship Management experience in the US Market but will also be responsible for growing and expanding the capability across other global markets in North America, South America, and ASEAN regions. This position will be responsible for driving the successful implementation and adoption of Salesforce platform and other MarTech technology solutions used by Ford’s major markets around the world.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to join our growing Marketing and Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing our marketing automation strategies to drive customer engagement and business growth. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy complex email campaigns, automated journeys (using Journey Builder), and multi-channel marketing programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Segment audiences and manage data extensions, lists, and subscriber data for targeted and personalized communications.
- Develop and implement AMPscript for dynamic content, personalization, and advanced email functionalities.
- Configure and optimize Data Extensions, Send Classifications, Tracking, and other SFMC administration tasks.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective SFMC solutions and campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experimentation to improve key marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions).
- Ensure data quality, compliance (e.g., CCPA, SPAM, GDPR), and deliverability best practices are adhered to.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions related to SFMC campaigns and data.
- Stay current with SFMC releases, new features, and marketing automation best practices.
- Potentially assist with integrations between SFMC and other systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, websites, data warehouses).
Qualifications Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent field .
Experience:
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
- 3 years of experience as a software engineer working on Salesforce and Data platforms.
Licenses and Certifications: Certification in one or more of the following:
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Associate
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
Functional/Technical Skills :
- Proven expertise in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Audience Builder , Einstein Tools and AgentForce
- Strong understanding and practical experience with AMP-script for dynamic content and advanced personalization.
- Familiarity with SQL for data segmentation and manipulation.
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email development.
- Prior experience in Your Industry, if relevant
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
