Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

About the Role:

Blazer Jobs is working with schools in Elgin, IL to hire aSocial Worker for the 25/26 school year. This full-time role is ideal for a compassionate professional eager to support students social, emotional, and academic success through counseling, advocacy, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students across K12

  • Support students social-emotional learning and mental health needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention and support plans

  • Connect families with community resources and services

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district standards

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)

  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

  • Strong communication, counseling, and collaboration skills

  • Previous school-based experience preferred
