Description Join a dynamic production team supporting the Shakespeare in the Parks tour. Production Crew Members play a key role in the success of this outdoor touring production by ensuring all staging and technical elements are safely transported, properly set up, and efficiently struck at each location. This role requires reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions, with both early morning and evening call times.Schedule
Tech Week: June 7 – June 13
Tour Dates (11-12 performances): June 14 – July 8
Load to Storage: July 9-11 (schedule TBD)

  • Transporting Stage & Equipment: Safely operate a box truck and/or sprinter van to transport stage pieces, props, and technical equipment between tour locations.
  • Stage Construction & Setup: Assemble and set up staging, lighting, and sound equipment at each performance site.
  • Breakdown & Pack-Up: Dismantle stage and technical elements following performances and ensure all equipment is securely packed for transport.
  • Load-In & Load-Out Support: Assist with all aspects of load-in prior to performances and load-out following performances.
  • Tech Week Support: Provide setup and breakdown support during technical rehearsals in preparation for the tour.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a box truck and/or sprinter van
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Previous production, stagehand, or event setup experience preferred

You are eligible for specific health insurance benefits if you worked, on average, 30 hours per week during your first 12 months of employment or from October 3rd to October 2nd each subsequent period following your first 12 months of employment.
