Job Overview

The Senior Vice President of Sales is a key executive responsible for defining and executing Upbit’s global sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing enterprise and institutional relationships across the Americas and worldwide.

Reporting directly to the CEO and EVP, the SVP will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, Institutional Coverage, and Global Strategy teams.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales leader with deep experience in fintech, digital assets, cryptocurrency exchanges, or enterprise SaaS—capable of translating market opportunities into scalable revenue growth and long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Global Revenue Growth

Define and lead Upbit’s global sales strategy across institutional, enterprise, and high-value retail accounts.

Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure and post-sales account management.

Translate Upbit’s mission into actionable sales frameworks, engagement models, and revenue targets.

Ensure alignment between regional sales operations and global corporate priorities.

Cross-Functional Sales Collaboration

Work closely with Product and Engineering to align offerings with client needs and market demands.

Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure sales operations adhere to regulatory and licensing requirements.

Collaborate with Marketing and Institutional Coverage teams to support account engagement, events, and enterprise campaigns.

Strategic Partnerships & Enterprise Expansion

Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value partnerships with institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, and blockchain ecosystem players.

Drive joint ventures, channel partnerships, and cross-border alliances that strengthen Upbit’s global presence.

Develop VIP account engagement frameworks and large-scale enterprise relationship models.

Process Optimization & Sales Excellence

Establish governance standards, sales playbooks, CRM protocols, and reporting dashboards.

Monitor pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and sales performance KPIs.

Continuously refine account management frameworks, deal structures, and pricing models to maximize commercial impact.

Global Market Expansion & Coordination

Lead sales initiatives supporting Upbit’s growth across North and South America.

Identify regulatory-compliant market entry opportunities and develop strategies for cross-border business expansion.

Represent Upbit in executive-level discussions with institutional clients, regional partners, and industry stakeholders.

Data-Driven Insights & Revenue Analytics

Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to track revenue growth, client engagement, and market penetration.

Use insights from market trends, competitor analysis, and client feedback to guide commercial strategy.

Optimize resource allocation, prioritization, and sales coverage models using data-driven insights.

Leadership & Organizational Development

Build and lead a high-performing global sales organization.

Foster a culture of commercial excellence, strategic thinking, and operational discipline.

Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and communication across Upbit’s global teams.

Qualifications

20 years of leadership experience in sales, business development, or commercial strategy.

Extensive experience in fintech, digital assets, crypto exchanges, or enterprise platform ecosystems.

Proven ability to drive revenue growth, negotiate complex deals, and execute international sales expansion.

Strong understanding of digital asset markets, institutional client behavior, trading infrastructure, and regulatory compliance.

Expertise in strategic account management, sales governance, deal structuring, and executive-level communication.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
