Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or equivalent) with three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer designing and developing Core Java, Spring, and Web Services applications in the financial services sector, utilizing Angular and REST. – Alternatively, a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent) with one year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer in similar roles. – Proven expertise in implementing microservice principles using Spring WS, REST patterns, OAuth, Swagger, and Apache Camel in an architectural setting. – Experience in building abstract, reusable APIs and organizing data using data structure concepts within a web application environment. – Proficiency in developing web application features using Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, Angular, JavaScript, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server within Java 8 and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. – Familiarity with deploying software applications in an Agile environment using CI/CD pipelines, GIT, Maven, and JIRA.

Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative and effective technical solutions for ongoing development initiatives. – Design applications or subsystems for major projects across multiple platforms. – Develop applications for various projects supporting divisional objectives. – Conduct and support all stages of testing leading to implementation. – Assist in planning and executing user acceptance testing. – Produce thorough documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate projects. – Perform post-installation testing to address any issues. – Define project plans for initiatives of moderate complexity. – Handle complex assignments, often engaging in multiple phases of a project. – Execute independent and comprehensive technical and functional analysis for various projects.
