Senior Software Engineer

We’re hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions.

• Gather requirements, drive feature delivery end-to-end, and debug complex software defects.

• Participate in code reviews, regression tests, and bug triaging to ensure code quality.

• Write technical documentation for software projects.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, OR a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience, OR a PhD.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Excellent coding and debugging skills in C/C++.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD).

• Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) and understanding of SDLC processes.
