Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field – A Masters degree or CPA certification is a strong advantage – At least 5 years of experience in a tax position, particularly with high net worth clients – Knowledge of Private Equity (PE) or State and Local Tax (SALT) issues is beneficial – Proficient in tax software and possess strong IT skills – Outstanding analytical capabilities and attention to detail – Effective communication and interpersonal skills – Capacity to manage multiple tasks, thrive under pressure, and meet strict deadlines – Strong ethical judgment and commitment to confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assess intricate tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts – Research and develop strategies to reduce clients tax liabilities – Support international tax planning and ensure compliance – Address State and Local Tax (SALT) concerns, including multi-state tax returns – Advise on tax effects of business investments and transactions – Stay updated on tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all tax matters – Work collaboratively with team members to enhance processes, service quality, and client connections – Mentor and train junior staff, promoting a supportive and efficient work atmosphere
