Our Business Elemica offers a state of the art supply chain operating network in the areas of customer & supplier management and logistics promoting new levels of efficiency and profitability for a leaner and more fully optimized supply chain Elemicas clients achieve significant value from reduced cost of operations faster process execution with fewer resources through the automation of key business processes removal of transactional barriers and seamless information flow between business partners Our Values All members of the Elemica team from our CEO to our newest entry level employees are expected to adhere to a set of core values that we think are critically important to our success Trust and RespectGrowth and DevelopmentCommunication and CollaborationAccountability and OwnershipMaking an Impact We need a Quality Engineer with experience in test automation and processes We are looking for people who are self motivated and driven to accomplish goals Elemica values individual accountability and a global team approach to problem solving and knowledge sharing We need people with hands on technical expertise that are comfortable multi tasking in a fast paced dynamic environment What are your responsibilities as Quality Engineer The Elemica Quality Engineer will have to ensure Quality throughout the project as you manage testing schedules develop functional test plans define test data monitor and track testing issues analyze test results organize and maintain test result documentation recommend corrective action and communicate testing status to Elemica team members and management teams Additionally take an active role in troubleshooting problems discovered during the testing process and working with internal Elemica resources through the resolution More specifically the daily tasks can include Manual testing Collaborate with a product and development team to contribute to planning and design reviewing product code formulating test scenariosExecute tests as part of Scrum teamAnalyze and interpret test results and create test reports when necessaryMaintain the test ware and ensure re usability for future regression tests JIRA XRAY as a member of a QA teamReporting of work in progress issues and bugs in JIRASupport internal teams in troubleshootingAutomation testing Increase the test coverage following the principles and architecture of existing frameworks or implement new ones when no framework is presentMonitor and act on test automation results in a timely mannerParticipation in the support of continuous integration continuous deployment and automation testing strategiesPerform UI testing API andor Performance testingUnderstand and be aware of code changes that may impact test coverage and executionIntroduce process improvement initiativesSetting up and maintaining test environments What should you bring to Elemica Minimum of 5 years in testing and minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering experience in Test Automation Test Tooling andor InfrastructureBachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field of studyProficient understanding of software test methodologiesprocedures and the overall product development lifecycleExperience in deriving test planscasesscripts from system requirementsGood experience in testing web applications and developing automation test scripts for itBasic understanding of SQL and using relational databasesSolid understanding of SeleniumGood understanding in JavaExperience with BBD frameworks is a plusExperience with Agile methodologyExperience with Jira Confluence and XRAY or similar Test Management toolAbility to multi task projects of varying degrees of complexity in an always changing environmentExperienced in working in a continuous integration environment and taking initiativeSkilled using the tools required performing Regression tests UI tests and End to end testsFluency in English spoken and writtenISTQB certification or equivalent is a plusGood understanding of APIsAPI automation
