🚀 AVP Program Manager – Enterprise PMO | Consumer Banking

🌎 San Diego (5 days onsite)

⚡ $140,000 – $155,000 Base + 20-25% Bonus (Cash & Stock)

With 88 live projects across Consumer Banking including a full online banking platform rewrite and the introduction of crypto capabilities – they need a program leader who can own delivery, govern with discipline, and hold a team accountable.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery across a complex consumer banking program portfolio
• Lead, coach and hold accountable a team of 7 Project Managers
• Establish and enforce PMO standards, governance frameworks and delivery discipline
• Serve as primary escalation point for program-level risks, issues and trade-offs
• Manage and forecast program budgets – CapEx, OpEx, variance reporting
• Deliver clear, fact-based, decision-ready updates to senior leadership
• Drive intake, prioritisation and capacity planning across the portfolio
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Risk and Compliance on cross-functional delivery

✅ Qualifications:

• 8–12+ years of program management experience in financial services or banking
• Proven experience formally leading and managing a team of Project Managers
• Hands-on delivery across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid environments
• Strong PMO governance discipline -stage gates, lifecycle controls, audit readiness
• Experience managing program budgets including CapEx vs OpEx and forecasting
• Executive presence – comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior leadership
• Experience with PPM tools – Daptiv, Planview, Jira Align, Azure DevOps preferred
• PMP, SAFe or equivalent certification preferred
