Senior principal product manager

Requirements

Must have:

– Active U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date – U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only citizens are eligible for security clearance – Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required – Minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience needed – Proficiency with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Program management – Experience in Test Systems Engineering or equivalent for both hardware and software development – Experience in managing cross-functional teams including project management, electrical, software, and mechanical – Familiarity with program management tools such as Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Risk Management – Experience in budget management and financial performance reporting – Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams is preferred – EVMS certification, Program Management certification, or equivalent is favorable – Strong communication skills to present performance results to various stakeholders – Experience in large program execution and proposal capture processes is beneficial – Understanding of Agile Methodologies is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Lead all stages of programs from inception through completion as an Integrated Product Manager (IPM) – Manage a diverse test team, ensuring collaboration across various engineering disciplines – Oversee administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects per program guidelines – Coordinate with program leadership and sub-IPMs to implement Earned Value Management (EVM) – Analyze collected data to formulate solutions and enhance work performance and efficiency – Facilitate project tasks with different functional organizations for alignment with project goals – Coordinate preparation of business proposals, work statements, operating budgets, and contract terms – Report Test Systems performance outcomes to leadership and clients effectively
