Requirements

Must have:

– Active TS/SCI clearance is essential. – Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days per week as required by the customer. – Bachelors degree in a related discipline is mandatory. – A Masters degree may compensate for 2 years of experience. – 10 years of relevant experience in the functional area. – 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages, proficient in DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers. – 5 years of recent, pertinent experience in front-end web design and development. – 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira). – 5 years of experience in testing web-based applications. – 5 years of experience in leading software development initiatives/projects. – Practical experience in a cloud environment. – 5 years of experience with both Jenkins and GitLab. – 5 years of experience with at least five of the following technologies: Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Jaguar, Java, Cricket, Node. – Proven experience in agile, user-focused application design, meeting top-tier UI/UX standards. – Demonstrated ability in preparing, executing, and documenting various systems tests to validate system functionality and adherence to project specifications. – Experience in creating system wireframes and mockups, accommodating diverse user personas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge for assigned tasks and projects. – Utilize analytical skills to enhance processes, conduct specialized studies, and define project requirements. – Engage in a range of duties including analysis, planning, drafting requirements documents, building functional models, and developing procedures and architectures. – Carry out engineering tasks related to front-end design and development, which encompass creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for review by JCC2 PMO and stakeholders. – Plan and implement modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), enhance UI elements, optimize system navigation, and improve user experience for user-facing features.
