Keys to Job: Healthcare for larger sized medical center or hospital required. MBA , CFA or CPA are a must. Also will consider a MA in finance. The ideal Candidate will have accounting, financial reporting and financial analyst work experience. Strong experience in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office Suite. No new grads.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • At least one (2) years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or accounting within a finance-related function.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work suitable for review.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptable and able to respond effectively to shifting priorities and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to departments on interpreting and utilizing financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Serve as a point of contact between Finance and other units, including research administration, to ensure compliance with funding and accounting requirements.
  • Support research teams by addressing inquiries and assisting with cost allocation forms.
  • Process cost transfer requests and labor allocation adjustments submitted by administrative and research units.
  • Assist in daily cash management, including wire transfer and check verification processes.
  • Contribute to the reconciliation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy across projects, budgets, and cost centers.
