Senior Data Engineer (Python, SQL)

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field – Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python – Familiarity with messaging protocols such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, ZeroMQ, Data Distribution Service, or Zenoh – Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools like GitLab or GitHub – Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions that leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance customer capabilities – Engage in all stages of the system development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation and testing – Participate in diverse activities including prototype development, demonstration creation, and transition to production – Apply computer science concepts, including object-oriented programming and algorithms, to craft code addressing complex issues – Utilize concurrency techniques and have knowledge of I/O operations with block storage or database systems – Take on leadership roles and provide mentorship to junior engineers as necessary
