Senior Backend Engineer – AI – Minneapolis

Requirements

Must have:

– Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school – Licensed to practice law in at least one state – Minimum of 2 years of experience in oil & gas title examination – Experience in regions outside of Texas is acceptable, particularly Bakken, Oklahoma, and New Mexico – Proficient in negotiating and drafting oil & gas agreements

Responsibilities:

• Offer legal guidance and support across a variety of oil and gas issues, including exploration, production, transport, and sales – Draft title opinions identifying defects, liens, or other matters that may affect property ownership or utilization – Examine legal documents such as leases, contracts, and deeds – Provide counsel on adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards – Represent our company in legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration – Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint legal risks and formulate risk management plans – Stay informed about changes in oil and gas law and industry developments – Conduct training sessions for other departments on pertinent legal topics
