Senior Backend Engineer – AI – Atlanta

Requirements

Must have:

– Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school – Licensed to practice law in at least one state – Minimum of 2 years of experience in oil & gas title examination – Experience considered from states other than Texas, particularly Bakken, Oklahoma, and New Mexico – Proficient in negotiating and drafting oil & gas agreements

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance and assistance on a wide array of oil and gas matters, encompassing exploration, production, transportation, and sales – Draft title opinions that identify defects, liens, or other issues affecting ownership or property use – Analyze legal documents such as leases, contracts, and deeds – Advise on compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards – Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration – Collaborate with other teams to identify legal risks and formulate risk management strategies – Stay informed on updates in oil and gas law and industry trends – Conduct training for other departments on pertinent legal issues
