Requirements

Must have:

– Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory. – Availability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days a week, depending on customer needs. – Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential. – A Masters degree may substitute for two years of professional experience. – Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, specifically in object-oriented and scripted languages, with familiarity in various DevSecOps tool suites, microservices, and containers. – At least 5 years of experience in back-end web design and development. – Over 10 years of experience with relational databases, including RESTful API development and integration. – At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Python and PostgreSQL. – 5 years of experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira. – Over 5 years of experience in testing web-based applications. – Minimum of 5 years leading software development initiatives or projects. – 3 years of experience with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux. – Proven expertise with at least five of the following technologies: Postgres, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, Red Hat. – Experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various system tests and their outcomes to ensure system operability and adherence to project standards. – Practical experience in cloud-based development environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise for outlined tasks. – Employ analytical skills to enhance process improvements, conduct specialized studies, and define requirements. – Engage in activities such as analysis, planning, developing requirement documentation, building functional models, and establishing procedures and functional architectures. – Undertake engineering tasks related to back-end design and development, including creating architectures to support current and new system capabilities and integrations. – Engage in the development and modification of RESTful APIs, manage databases, and optimize data models.
