Your Role
As ourSenior Accounting & Compliance Specialist, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our company’s accounts. You’ll play a central role in maintaining smooth finance operations — from reconciliations and expense management to statutory compliance and financial reporting oversight.
This position combines hands-on accounting, payroll, tax and control responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who’s ready to step into a more autonomous finance role in a fast-growing international tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Compliance — Maintain accurate accounting records, oversee month-end closings, and ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations.
- Bank Reconciliations — Perform and review daily and month-end reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
- External Reporting & Oversight— Coordinate annual financial statements and manage reporting to external institutions.
- Accounts Payable & Payroll — Oversee vendor management, payments, and payroll processing in cooperation with external accounting offices.
- Controlling & Cost Management — Support cost control and variance analysis, assist in building reports for management.
- Point of Contact for External Partners — Act as the main liaison for accounting offices and tax advisors, ensuring consistency and timely communication.
- Process Improvements— Identify and implement opportunities to improve accuracy, automation, and efficiency in finance processes.
Who You Are
- 5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles (including VAT and statutory compliance).
- Proven experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience with external financial reporting or oversight of external accounting offices.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills — you’re confident building financial reports and analytical summaries. You’re not afraid of using AI to support you.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent communication in English (C1) and Polish (C1), both written and spoken.
- Nice to have: exposure to cost controlling, T&E tools, or automation initiatives; ACCA or equivalent qualification (or in progress).
