What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Interface with various stakeholders to design and improve cybersecurity measures
- Conduct risk assessments on environments, systems, and applications
- Investigate alerts, anomalies, and security incidents
- Develop security awareness materials for employees and customers
- Manage security ownership and drive resolution of escalated security issues
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity-related experience in security analysis, incident response, or vulnerability management
- Knowledge of information security standards and best practices
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for institutions
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Security-related certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, EC-Council Certified Hacker, or CISM)
- Experience with specific security tools and technologies
