School Social Worker – Chester, PA

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting students across K12 grade levels . The Social Worker will serve one school site (to be assigned) and will play a key role in providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and intervention services to students.

• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote academic success.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement student support plans.

• Conduct assessments and create strategies for student growth and well-being.

• Connect students and families with appropriate community resources.

Requirements:

• Active MSW license in Pennsylvania (required).

• Experience working in a school-based setting (required).

• Comfortable supporting a K12 caseload.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Contract Details:

• Onsite, full-time role (37.5 hours/week).

• School year contract: August 25, 2025 June 12, 2026.
