Part-Time Occupational Therapist

Location: San Francisco, CA

Pay: $55$65 per hour (based on experience)

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential therapy services and support students in achieving their academic and developmental goals. Renewal opportunities for the following school year may be available based on performance.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply, including:

• Masters Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Active California Occupational Therapist license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)

• Current certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Ability to pass state and federal background checks (as required by the school district)

• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities:

In this part-time role, you will:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional daily living skills

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families, teachers, and service providers

• Conduct evaluations, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student development and access to education

• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to promote student independence and inclusion
