Position Overview:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to join a school team in Detroit, MI. This role supports both General Education and Special Education students, providing direct social-emotional services and helping manage behavioral needs within the school environment.

Caseload & Responsibilities:

• Serve both General Education and Special Education students

• Act as the 504 Plan Coordinator

• Provide social-emotional support and behavioral intervention

• Collaborate closely with staff, families, and administrators

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program

• Must hold one of the following credentials:

• SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work

• MDE School Social Worker Credential

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills required
